Work can range from an early-morning call when a school needs someone quickly, to pre-arranged daily cover and short-term assignments. The more flexible and available you are, the more opportunities may come your way, and we manage the paperwork so you can focus on the work.

No. The Supply Network is an ongoing registration opportunity. Registering does not create a contract of employment and does not guarantee that work will be offered, or that a specific vacancy exists at any school. We contact you when suitable opportunities arise based on your availability and preferences.
Every candidate is interviewed, identity-checked and reference-checked before joining. Where required for the role, we also support you through the relevant vetting and safeguarding checks, and we work with schools to make sure their expectations are clear from the start.
The network covers supply teachers (primary and secondary), SEND teachers and support staff, teaching assistants, cover supervisors, nursery and early years practitioners, school administrators and exam invigilators.
Emergency cover is a school’s same-day or early-morning need for someone to step in quickly. Daily cover is usually a pre-arranged day of teaching or support, and short-term assignments run for a defined period such as a week, a term or a planned absence.
